November 28th: We had the privilege of visiting the Soleil Luna salon today for a wedding coordinator/vendor's brunch visit the beautiful Balinese decorated salon and to see them at work . I was impressed with the products carried (i.e. Eminence, Paul Mitchell) and the salon set up. I especially liked that there was air conditioning rather strong in an area where there would be heat eminating from the hair dryers and people gathered. Wendy, the owner, said that was definitely a purposeful consideration when designing the salon's layout.
Upon entering the salon, we were greeted with a mimosa and a friendly smile from owner and hair stylist Wendy Pogni. The various sections of the salon and spa are assigned cute and trendy names. For example, the hair color area is called the "Color Cafe" and the area from where you select your nail polish color is called the "Nail Bar." Products for sale are at the "Tool Bar." Soleil Luna even sells their own hair care products that are Sulphate free and 100% vegan!
With so many options for brides on the West Side, I asked Wendy what makes her Soleil Luna salon different from the others.Wendy responded with two major qualities that make her team stand out: (1) her team is expertly trained and is committed to coninuously learning new trends and techniques in the beauty industry, and (2) they are committed to provided amazing customer service and experiences. The salon also offers an all natural spray tan for brides who wish to get an even looking tan a day or two before the wedding day. Although the salon did not offer off-site services previously, THEY DO NOW. The travel fee is $50 for the West Side of Maui.
